I just reviewed the report from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) on the change in home sales by price point for 2015 as compared to 2014.

Some Highlights:
Home Sales are up year-over-year in the top 4 price ranges and only slightly below last year's numbers in a fifth.
A lack of distressed property inventory has led to a slow down in sales in the under $100K price range.
As home prices continue to rise, there will be less homes available for sale in the lower ranges.
What does this mean for you, as a homeowner considering the sale of your home?
It means that as the shortage of homes increases, if your home is priced & staged correctly, you'll be in a good position to sell quickly, for Top Dollar.
Here's what has happened with home sales in your market this past week.

4 properties sold in Northridge this past week. They range in selling from from $565,000-$815,000; in size from 1859sf-4913sf; and days on market from 28-80, with the average being 50.
I've picked out a couple of features that caught my eye... we're seeing more homes being renovated before sale... like the kitchen in the left, and yet, we still savor "funky" retro details of the 60s & 70s like the railing, fireplace, and atrium wall on the right.
